PROTESTORS TO PROTEST THE PROTESTERS PROTESTING
By Tweed
The Protest Warriors - No, they aren't a new musical group and it isn't a new play on Broadway. The Protest Warriors are a highly dedicated, elite group of young conservatives who strike fear into the hearts of liberals everywhere.
The Protest Warriors will be hitting the streets of New York during the Republican Convention to protest the protesters. The groups president, Tom Paladino, is a dedicated conservative who supports President Bush on just about anything.
Member Jason Sager of Brooklyn, describes the group as "right-wing freedom fighters."
The freedom fighters, not unlike the European Resistance Movements during WWII, are a courageous group of liberty loving people who believe in supporting their country and president.
"We thought about enlisting in the army, given the recruitment problems, but we just feel that our courage and liberty loving would be more useful in Manhattan," said Paladino. "Anyone can go fight a war in Iraq or Afghanistan. Those servicemen over there are pretty courageous too, but how many have the courage to protest against protesters in New York City, in the August heat?"
The group says they believe so strongly in Bush's Iraq policy that they are willing to sacrifice an entire afternoon to protest. "Someone has to protect this country," says Sager. "Who's going to do it, Kerry, Cleland, Clarke, Rangel? We're going into battle and no one will be there to protect us except for a few thousand cops."
