The one and only Julia Child died in her sleep, Thursday, August 12, 2004. Although renowned for her culinary skills, Child's greatest skill may have been making people believe she was British.
The body will be dusted with flour, sauteed under a low flame for 8 minutes, glazed with honey mustard and then laid to rest in a giant Blue Oval Dutch Oven by Le Creuset.
